About
Willcox Granite

George Willcox (Granite) Ltd, established in 1975 and based in Evesham, Worcestershire, is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of memorial granite. With origins dating back to 1975, the company specialises in importing and manufacturing a wide range of granite memorials. Operating with a team of over 60 staff, Willcox Granite runs from a modern facility equipped with advanced cutting and polishing machinery, a large warehouse, and efficient distribution systems.

The company’s primary services focus on the wholesale supply of memorials to funeral directors, stonemasons, and other memorial professionals across the UK.

The Challenge

Willcox Granite was nearing the end of a long-term VoIP contract that was expensive and wasn’t future-proof. The system had been difficult to deploy, leading to early frustrations and with scalability and future-readiness in mind, Willcox Granite began searching for a more efficient and adaptable communications solution.

The Solution

By transitioning to the Wildix Cloud PBX VoIP system, Willcox Granite has adopted a more cost-effective and agile communications solution. Every team member is equipped with a Wildix ForcePro 5, a premium VoIP office phone designed for performance, flexibility, and comfort. With its large adjustable display and 45 programmable BLF keys, employees can efficiently manage calls and monitor colleague availability, perfect for Willcox Granite’s busy office environment.

A key priority for the new system was ease of setup, especially given previous challenges with their old solution. The ForcePro 5 supports built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, enabling quick, cable-free installation and seamless compatibility with a wide range of headsets. This flexibility allows users to customise their workspace and maintain productivity throughout the day.

Combined with Wildix’s cloud-based platform, which offers unified voice, video, and collaboration tools accessible via desktop, mobile, and web apps, and the inclusion of softphone and mobile apps as standard, has given the team greater mobility, ease of use, and a reliable performance.

The Benefits

Switching to Wildix has made communication quicker, easier, and way more flexible for the team at Willcox Granite. Here is how:
