(*) Telephone lines in the UK are changing. In 2025 all fixed Public Service Telephone Network lines are being switched off. This means all calls will need to be made using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) lines and services. No new lines or increase in existing services will be available from 2020. As a result, all Schools and Colleges will need to upgrade both their lines and their telephone systems to IP services.
